Fredy Pimentel
Fredy’s parents couldn’t have been very excited when they discovered his 5-year-old creative designs on their walls. He followed his passion and received his bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Architecture Design and Art, Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. As a licensed architect in Mexico, he has designed buildings all over the world. Fredy is a Principal with the firm.
He appreciates the practice of architecture as broad and dynamic; you may find yourself in the office planning a new building, or in the field supervising construction, he says. He loves the process of creating new environments, analyzing all the components, and seeing how everything comes together as the design comes alive.
He believes in doing his part to preserve the earth, and promotes sustainability, reuse, and re-purpose. His favorite building in Arizona is the International Pavilion at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He appreciates how it uses solar power and natural winds for ventilation; it produces its own energy to operate, making it self-sufficient and one of the greatest eco-friendly buildings in the nation. He always looks for ways to improve and believes we can always do better.
Fredy and his family moved to Arizona from Utah in 2021. Despite a busy work schedule, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two active kids, traveling, and even taking care of mundane house chores.
